Citizenfish
Hi, A jar of coffee fell out of one of our cupboards and shattered the glass cover of our Smev hob. The hob is a 4 ring model and fitted in a Ci Carioca 656. Any idea where I can get a replacement? Ta Dave
Stuart
Probably worth trying O'Leary,s at 01482 868632, They carry a lot of spares and show Smev amongst the lines they stock. Stuart
Robinhood
Leisurespares are the usual suspects for things such as this. They stock, or can get hold of, items other than the common ones detailed on their website. You might try contacting them with the model number.www.leisurespares.co.ukAre you sure the cover is a Smev part though? I didn't think they did a 4 burner hob (though they do a 4 burner hob/grill unit - which leisurespares do spares for). Some hobs have had aftermarket lids added to the worktop. hallii
If it's just a piece of glass without any logos etc fused onto it you could try a local glass shop. They will cut and grind it and make any holes and send it away to be toughened. I had one done a few years back, it cost around £35 as far as I remember.
