laimeduck
Still working on my battery parasitic drain problem. However I have found a small round rocker switch in the glove compartment. It has the looks of original equipment. I don't know what it does. It is not mentioned in the Ducato handbook. There is no courtesy light fitted in the glove box, so not for that? Anyone got any ideas? I am still looking for the fuses & relays for things like fridge etc. The skimpy Benimar handbook (for a Europe 6000 Model!) says they are under the drivers seat. Have checked under both seats & under the van but they are not there! E-mail to Benimar I think.Jeremy
dikyenfo
It could be an additional safety device to prevent the engine starting as it could be connected to the fuel cut-off or similar.
maggyd
We have the same switch fitted by Van Blitz it is a switch which isolates or operates a circut cable for the bikes or any other equiptment you want to connect ie; it operates if someone cuts the cable. laimeduck
Maggyd - Thanks for that - thats spot on! I have a Van Bitz alarm so phoned them. Very helpful - its an accessory loop situated under the rear of the van via a special plug. Many thanks
