Thanks Mel and Lenny,

I wont be buying a stabiliser at those prices if I can get away with it.

Always had a leisure tv before so never needed to think of a stabiliser either.

Off to France next week to try it out :-D :-D :-D

We have a 19" dual voltage, 230/12v , with integrated freeview, DVD player & ipod socket(Unused) made by kenmark and bought from Comet for £120 last year. We kept the original box and plastic sleeves so we can put it back in the box after we have finished using it and it goes on the the overcab bed when we are not using it or travelling. Weight 5kgs.

Why bother for Gods sake? with all the appalling mindnumbing garbage on the idiot box these days, you might as well read a book or watch a good film on the laptop. Also think of all the money you'd save.

In December, in Spain we were parked up next to a German 'van which had the whole caboosh, TV wise, self seeking satellite dish, the full monty. In the evening we could see their big screen telly through the window & they spent the whole time flicking through the hundreds (or is it thousands) of channels of absolute dross.

What is the point????
