I've learn't more history from him in 10 mins than I ever did at school :D

He ought to give talks at teacher training colleges, on how to make information transfer interesting and fun :-D

Interesting about the Traders gate / Traitors gate was used by barges to supply goods to the tower last time I was in London the gate looked to be about 20ft above high water level rather puts the skids under global warming / sea levels rising ?. John (lol)

Last year we went to the Tower of London for the 'Ceremony of the Keys'. The 'guide' has us in stiches. It takes place about 2200hrs.

You have to write in for tickets which are free but after the event they ask for volountary donations.

Just do an internet search for "tower of london" +keys for details.
