We are looking to arrive there early next week. We have reached Bordeaux which was quite warm and sunny today, yesterday from Calais to Poitiers, cold and horribly wet. Bojitoes Posted January 29, 2011 Share Posted January 29, 2011 We are in Riaza, 40 or so miles from Madrid. There is 3" of snow on the ground and it is very cold. Only able to reach the site by following a snowplough. Will probably get snowed in here for a few days the way the forecast looks- somehow not what we expected in Spain! trickydicky Posted January 29, 2011 Author Share Posted January 29, 2011 wow, snow, and not that far from benidorm. we had a much improved day today, sunny and warm, and at one time the thermostat hit 18c,albeit for half an hour or so.the outlook also looks promising,mostly sunny days ahead and the temperature creeping up slightly.
