Wilberforce Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 I felt I had to complete the thread concerning the problem I had with my distributor panel. Having received my third panel, this time from Marcle Leisure and still having the problem I contacted Steve at Marcle to see if there was an answer. He took full details and asked for photographs of the back and front of the panel. He then contacted cbe at Italy to find an answer. It turned out I had ordered the wrong one. Although the website had the PC200 with PC200ex in brackets, I should have ordered the PC200ex with LCD display. He agreed to credit me with the price if I returned it, which I promptly did. The time table went like this:- Sunday - contacted them. Monday - Steve requested photos. Sent photos & received response. Tuesday - Steve requested information on whether lights worked previously. Confirmed. cbe confirmed wrong panel ordered. Steve informed me that as he didn't have one in stock he would have to order one. I expected the usual "it will take six weeks" as happens whenever anything has to be ordered from Elddis. Wednesday - returned panel and asked how long the replacement would take. Thursday - Steve informed me he was waiting for a delivery. Friday - panel arrived at 9.05. Hallelujah. It works. I go to all this trouble because we are so grateful to Steve and feel that his personal service should be noted. Thanks to him we go to Spain in two weeks with a peace of mind.
