Is there such a thing as a popular, yet British built, cult vehicle?

OK then:

Triumph Spitfire?

Frog Eyed Sprite?

MG, TF or other model (before the Leyland abortions of course)?

My top money is on: Morris Minor.

Speaking of rigid I had a dolomite sprint as well... now that was from one extreme to another..very rigid in fact I dont think there was any suspension at all and as for the lack of power stearing well it certainly gave you a work out :-D

Pelmet,

You got it in one, the good old Landy, I sold my Landrover disco about 2 months ago, didnt have any practical use for it, so I bought a Tranny van for work in conjunction with my Nissan.

And an empty wallet if you couldn't repair the frequent head gasket failures yourself. I had one, lovely solid car , but engine was very badly cooled.

Following on the vehicle theme

I often day dream about my ideal out fit B-) They would all be pre 73 because I like the idea of being tax free >:-)

I would have a Winnebago which had been refitted to todays standard with a Triumph Stag on a trailor, partly because they always seem to break down 8-)
