hallii
I have removed the driver / passenger seat covers from my Hymer Van. Does anyone know if they can be washed or is it a dry cleaning job? H
Guest pelmetman
Are there not any upholstery cleaning instructions in your manual (?) Working with fabric as I do, I would check with the manufacturer, as even dry cleaning can shrink fabric *-) If it were me I would probably put them back on and have them cleaned in situ :D
hallii
Your right, it tells me what to do in the instruction book! It says use upholstery foam, but if anyone has tried washing them, I would like to wash them, they need a good clean! H
Guest pelmetman
I suspect they will shrink if you put them in the washing machine. How about hanging them on the line and giving them a good thrashing to get out the dust and grit, then back on the seats and give them a scrub with the upholstery foam :D
