none down our way seems tracker has not discoverd the new forest yet (lol)

Can't take that credit - I think the New Forest was 'discovered' by William the Conkerer back in about 1190 - when you were still a lad!

It seems he planted lots of horse chestnut trees because he liked to play Conqueror and as it was his forest I suppose, being French, he just had to have it his way!!

Och Aye - well Scotland is not a real place as it only exists in myth and legend as the Highlander will tell you so perhaps you are in the wrong time zone!

Och der Noo Rich,

Oh but it is really scenic, Fresh air no Pollutant Factories  here ,Very Little crime ,Peaceful and quiet, snow covered Hills, deer all around us Pheasant walking through the garden Red Squirrel,s playing in the trees and bushes ,birds too numerous in breeds to mention, Tree,s and forest,s abound, a Pleasant running Burn (stream) by the old mill below us,   the Lack of the occasional Policeman/woman on their beat, and when it gets Dark here IT IS DARK, sometimes cant sleep for the Quietness,

Yep I can say its nice here.

"Didn't want to be on the poxy Police site anyway"

And of course you also have the benefit of trillions of midges, enough rainfall to make the Arabs jealous, your very own alleged government (bless them!), you never suffer from sunburn, and it's a bloody long way when you want a ferry to france - but other than that Scotland is a wonderful place to live!
