The badlands

This morning we went to take down a sycamore tree, it was on a particular estate that we refer to as the "badlands" you do not enter that estate unless all your gear is locked and secure and you have someone riding "shotgun" on your van.

Within 5 minutes of parking and tackling up, the local dipsticks come out of the woodwork they ever so innocently walk towards your vehicle checking it out if there are any weakspots, not so with our vehicle.

They are just like a pack of wolves sussing out a wounded or sick animal, working anywhere like that we always have a suitable length of chain hanging round our necks in order to belt any chancer.

The best chain to use is chainsaw chain!

The trouble with wacking them with the chainsaw is that the blood splatters all over your nice clean monday morning work clothes.

Get 'em on a Friday then!

I've decided to become a vilgilante (like that Charles Bronson) in my locality. There's a lot of small children riding their bikes without lights...on the pavement and I'm going to stamp it out....singlehandedly.

Obviously, I'm going to ensure that they're considerably smaller than me before tackling the blighters. From small acorns....

This particular estate has only one way in and one way out those most at risk are strangers, delivery drivers or contactors many a delivery or contractors van has been cleaned out.

Basically the area is a thieves kitchen where they even thieve from their own neighbours, no one is exempt.

The thieving is done by fleetfooted teenagers and the loot is passed on to older recievers, a place to be very wary in.
