Alf Stonehouse
ov2 TO csv I downloaded “Flunch”POIs unfortunately those & others could only be found via “Tom Tom world”That is POIs for Tom Tom GPS which are “ov2” files I thought “POIEdit” could convert them to gti for “Garmin”eventually i found “batch convert”chose “Garmin csv” Eventually i got the ov2 file to the “convert”frame & after several tries had (have) ov2 on the left & csv on the right BUT what ever i do i cant make a separate “csv”file for my Garmin loader to find?? How do i move the converted file from the “batch convert window”???
lennyhb
I just had a go, I downloaded the POI's from TomTom heaven, used POI Edit all worked OK . This is how I did it:- Opened the ov2 files in POI Edit them saved them to xls format, it is when you do this you choose the destination folder & the conversion. Opened the file in Excel (for some reason they load into the 3rd sheet sheets 1 & 2 are blank). Then I deleted the 1st column with no data then did a "save as" and saved them as a csv file. Used the Garmin Loader to load using the Manual option.
