Guest Terry Clarke
The 240v heating element on my 3 way absorbtion fridge, fitted to my Mazda E2000 CI motorhome, has gone open circuit. The element is rated at 115W and is combined with the 12V 100W element, both being encapsulated in a common cigar shaped ceramic body with 4 glass fibre insulated flying leads terminating in a moulded 4 pin (6mm male blade) connecting plug. I have been trying to find a spares supplier in New Zealand but thus far have drawn a blank. There does not seem to be any brand name on the unit but it looks identical to some older electrolux models. The date code on the element says 1988. any help would be much appreciated. Guest Leo
Terry If you can email me at carafrig@alphalink.com.au, with the dimensions, I may be able to help you Regards Leo
Guest Terry Clarke
Leo, many thanks for your reply. The element is 19mm in diameter and 85mm in length. The length is not too critical as there is plenty of room inside the burner tube. The diameter must be the same though, as the element is a close fit within the burner tube. Best regards. Terry.
