Guest pelmetman
For sometime I've been of the opinion that all drugs should be legal, then they could be manufactured to a safe standard, and can be taxed the same as other drugs like cigarettes & drink :D Not to mention it would put the criminals out of work >:-) After all the British goverment has some history as a drug dealer *-) The Chinese opium wars springs to mind 8-)

CliveH
Opiates tend to depress normal respiratory function. That is why off course you see Anaesthetists using a machine to breath for you when you are out of it on opiates during an operation. If this stuff was high strength then its is most likely that these three individuals just went off to sleep and never woke up. No more craving No more stealing and nicking to feed the habit No more family pleading with them to "get clean" A period of great sadness for any wasted life - then move on and ponder if this result is not the best one for all concerned.
