Guest Tim
I've just acquired a 1983 Winnebago LeSharro to repair. It was imported into UK in 1998 but never registered here - it has been sitting in a yard rusting since that time. Does anyone know how I can get an age related verification for this (DVLA requires this) - I have no vehicle documents and the vehicle is still on original Canadian plates. Any help much apprecuiated . Thanks. Tim
Guest Frank Gordon
As you say you've got no UK paperwork for this vehicle I would think you've only got two options - approach the Canadian licencing authorities or (probably better) contact Winnebago. Presumably there is a Vehicle ID number somewhere on the Le Sharo that you can quote. If you find it impossible to provide the certificate DVLA want, can't the motorhome be registered on a "Q"-plate instead?
