Gwendolyn
Can anyone help with this query please? Thanks to advice on this Forum in response to an earlier query, we have bought 2 electric bikes to accompany us on our travels. But I cannot seem to find any insurer who will cover the bikes for more than 30 days per trip [90 in a year] in Europe / Worldwide. As we are going away for 3 months initially, and then again later in the year, including to Morocco, we need more cover than that. Any ideas? What do you do if you take bikes for long periods? Relying on the collective wisdom here, I am confident that someone will have an answer! Thank you in advance, Gwendolyn
alan k
Hi, As my House insurance doesn't cover electric bikes I too was searching last September for insurance. The best I could find was ETA Services Ltd but even that is limited "a period not exceeding ninety days during any one period of insurance in Europe and sixty days worldwide" So we'll just about manage with that. There really does appear to be an opportunity for an insurer here, or has somebody else got better cover alan
Suda
Sorry not so much Insurance as payload. Have 2 electric bikes, knowing they are quite heavy, used much of your payload or have you sacrificed something else for them?

LordThornber
Would your insurance query be better answered on a cycle forum? Or an electric cycle forum? Just a thought or 2 8-) Martyn
Gwendolyn
Yes, probably! It's just that I've seen so many motorhomers with bikes on racks I thought I'd try to tap into their expertise. Got it sorted now. Used same insurer as the first person who replied to my post. Thanks.
