BGD Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 There's a specialist long-term caravan & motorhome parking site just off the AP7 motorway, on the N332 national road, between Denia and Oliva on the Costa Blanca, near to us: http://parkingsantaana.com/index.php If you used it, you'd be about an hour and a quarters car drive south of Valencia airport, and a similar drive north from Alicante airport. (They did also have a half decent accessories shop on the same site, but they have just relocated it a couple of kms south to a bigger unit on the El Verger industrial estate.) No idea on storage prices, but it looks pretty secure, and popular; and I know at least one of them speaks reasonable English - might be worth you giving them a call if they are in the right region for you..... Can anyone reccommend a suitable place? You don't say, but if the van is registered and insured in UK, check very carefully. It seems many UK insurers won't provide cover for storage facilities outside UK, you will have to keep it taxed, as it is not permissible to SORN a vehicle that is outside UK and, depending on date of first MoT, don't forget about the need to get that done as well.
