laimeduck
Various recent posts (Brian's) have warned of the speed limits in France for heavier vehicles, namely 90kph on dual carriageways & 80kph elsewhere & 50 kph in built-up areas and fog.Are there similar restrictions in other European Countries - specifically, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland Austria, Spain & Italy to name but a few? If not what are the limits there? Is there an easy source of information? Also, is it a requirement to have the stickers for 50, 80, 90 on the back of the van?ThanksJeremy

If not what are the limits there? Is there an easy source of information? Thebest source of such information are forums like these from people who are experienced in driving in such countries. However, without it sounding flippant, the best source for this type of information is the 'Internet', just go on to one of the many search engines and ask the question. There are lots of Country Guides available and most European Campsite Publications include this type of information, just make sure you have the up to date versions. Finally, if all else fails just follow the directions on the road signs ;-)
Robinhood
You might find the following link useful: http://www.caravaning-info.de/reisen/tempolimits.html ...whilst it is in German, it is fairly easily understandable, and you could always put it through Google translate.
