Mountain_Biker
You know the Fiamma door locks to use on coach built doors, we they don't fit my van doors due to various reasons...and in my view they look ugly. Does anyone know of any electronic locks that you can use on coach built doors or mechanical ones that fit inside the van doors that maybe you can close with a separate key. Coach built doors are not that secure, there must be some that can make the doors more secure rather than having external locks that show. Clive
You should NEVER totally rely on an elecrical system to gain access to your motorhome. No volts mean no access. By all means have a combined system but always retain the option of using a key. C.
terry1956
hi, there is a chap selling dead bolts on ebay for motorhomes. remember no matter how good the door locks are, there are always the windows. and the last motorhome break in I saw they got in by the side window. michael

Just in case this good advice has caused a small panic concerning locks and flat batteries I am told the remedy is to remove a light cover and provide power via the lamp socket. Never had to try it but worth remembering. (Sorry this is away from your thread but I thought it worth a mention)
