p0930 Posted April 18, 2011 Share Posted April 18, 2011 I seem to have solved my mobile Internet problem. I purchased a Zoom mobile Wi Fi router at Peterborough show. It works by plugging your USB dongle into the router which then converts the signal to wifi. The big advantage is that it will with virtually any dongle, which means by purchasing an appropriate dongle for the area you are in you can have internet access. I am currently using a 3 dongle but this does not give coverage where I live. A pay as you go dongle on another service provider will increase my ability to have access in non 3 areas. I am assured this will work equally well abroad with a dongle purchased in whatever country you are in. Maplins sell them for £70.00. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
