trickydicky Posted April 28, 2011 Share Posted April 28, 2011 hi,just returned from an hotel holiday in tenerife.while we were there we were told of a new campsite in el medano,near la tahita beach.we made a quick visit to inspect it before we flew home.unfortunately it was a special holiday and the site was overflowing with spanish families and barking dogs,it was very untidy, the toilets/showers/washing up areas were dirty and it seemed there was no hot water in any of the areas !!!!! not a good day to visit. but we would love to spend a few months camping in tenerife.has anyone stayed at this site ? does anyone know of any other campsites on the island ? we also spotted lots of motorhomes wild camping,but saw no facilities for water, waste or toilet. !!!!!
