spiritoftheblues
Looking at getting an A-Frame to pull a Vauxhall Agila behind my Auto Trail Apache. I was wondering if when using an A-Frame, will the vehicle still clock up the miles (or does the engine have to be running)?.. Also has anyone any reccomendations for Tow Bar and A Frames suppliers..Based around the Merseyside / Cheshire area..
Rowan Lee
If you have an electronic trip, it won't clock up the miles. Our Honda Jazz doesn't, but we do keep a note of the miles it has been towed, so we can ask our garage to check the brakes, etc. It also gets through tyres a little faster, especially the front ones which get scrubbed off a bit, and we get the tracking checked regularly too. Have a look at http://www.tow-bars2tow-cars.co.uk/ Ours is a different system currently but we are looking at this for our next car.

Stew
I have an Autotrail Chieftain and an Hyundai i10, I'm booked in at Armitage trailers this thursday to have one fitted. Check out their website http://www.armitagetrailers.com/Aframes.htm. Worth a look. Hope this helps. Stew :-D
Rosbotham
Chris Cox for me. Had one on a Smart, and now a Fiat 500C. He's based in Birmingham, but will collect & deliver for fitting.
