Hopesy
CC CL Penygraig Farm Aberystwyth sloping grass field no hook up but loo and shower £8. Next to a disused railway now a smooth cycle path about 3 miles walk/cycle to Aber. Lots of walking, peace and quiet, lovely. Rog
mikemoss
We love Mountain Cottage, a Hideaway Site (under Wimborne) in Dorset. There's hard standing for bad weather, but if the ground is dry then the pitches in the field are really lovely. Great dog walking nearby, and handy for places like Poole, Bournemouth, Wimborne Minster etc. Please note this is absolutely NOT one of those groomed-to-perfection Caravan Club Site type places, and all the better for it in our view! Cattwg
Thank you to those who replied to this thread. Would anyone else like to add a CS? Being a C&CC member I am particularly interested in their CS's. Cattwg :-D
Guest peter
The C.C c/s Green loch House in Dumfries and Galloway is absolutely stunning. It's right on th eedge of a small loch, which curls around a lot of the site. Trout fishing as well.
terryW
This is not a CS, it's actually a club site [slindon] but it only has waste and water and few EHU'. It's a lovely setting with great walks direct from the site and close to a number of interesting places to visit. But don't try booking when the Goodwood festival of speed is on. As an ex CCC member not having access to this site is my only regret. At the right time of year you can even see figs on the site trees (but a bit green).
