Whale kitchen tap head replacement?

Hi all

our poor tap in the kitchen got frost damage and has slit down the seal.

Has anyone any experience of repalcing these - can I just replace the tap head or do I have to repalce the whole unit including taps. How easy is it to do?

Thanks

If you mean the tap handle/knob then yes these can be purchased as a seperate item they are sold in pairs with new spigots attached (the bit that usually breaks if you turn off to hard). To remove handle/knob, just pull firmly.

All above applies when I bought some about 2 years ago, so things might have changed in the interim. I think Whale taps are made in N.I.

Hi Phantom,

I have just realised the price shown for the replacement tap knobs - £15 + p&p! I certainly did not pay that price when I bought them from this company. From memory I paid about £7 including p&p, that was about 18 months ago. Might be as well to check with them just in case it's a mistake. If it's these items that you want of course.
