Bike rack + towing car

Morning all, Does anyone have or know where I can buy a bike rack to fit on the tow bar [ not the tow ball ] as I still want to tow my car, but dont want to fix to the rear of the van.

Sorry - just re-read the post.

We used something similar to the one below when towing a caravan.

Can't remember the name of the manufacturer of the one we used but it was a similar set-up whereby you could leave the base plate permanently atached to the towing bracket and slot in the carrier arms as/when needed.

The only disadvantage (with an estate car) was the need to remove the bikes before the rear door could be opened.

Hi Chris, just been round to the Garage that does my MOT and servicing and took a picture of the rack and he will make me one complete with checkerplate bottom to fit whatever bike I buy.
