GL
Hi Folks I am new to the forum so please excuse any mistakes! I am at a loss to find the wheel torque settings for my 2006 Autocruise Stardream. The handbook I have with the motorhome refers to the Autocruise Pioneer Monet which although almost the same may have steel wheels where as mine are Alloys. Hope someone can oblige. Many thanks. :-)
Brambles
If you have Ducato or Boxer base vehicle then they are ... 160 Nm for 14mm bolts (15 inch wheels) and 180 Nm for 16mm dia bolts (16 inch wheels). Jon.
GL
Hi John, Thanks for that. It does say in the handbook 160nm but as the handbook does not technically refer to my model and that the settings are model specific I thought that I should try to confirm the settings as mentioned especially as any pictures I have of The Monet shows different wheels to mine. Brambles
The torque is dependant on bolt size and is same for alloy or steel.
GL
Hi Brambles, Thanks for that. So I can take it that the 160nm in the Handbook should refer to my motorhome model as well then? I was hoping someone with a 2006 Stardream would come on and say that they had checked their handbook and confirm details.
flicka
Hi G&L & welcome to the forum. What Brambles means is that the Wheel Torque seting is relevant to the Peugeot base vehicle model, not the Autocruise conversion model identity. Hope that clarifies for you. GL
Thanks Flika and Brambles, I was under the impression that there was a dfference between Steel & Alloy wheels. Thanks to all for the advice given. Geoff
