747
Euro Car Parts have offers on Clutch Kits at the moment. 15% off. They also have conversion kits to alter Dual Mass Flywheels to standard solid flywheels. That will be one problem less for some newer motorhomes (and cars) . ;-)
euroserv
Hello 747, Good intel but some good advice to follow; Any 2.4 Ford engine would definitely benefit from the change to solid flywheel as these have been highly problematic and as the bundle prices of solid flywheel conversion kits can be similar to normal clutch kits this is a no brainer if you are changing the clutch anyway. I have heard of successful solid flywheel conversions on 2.3 Iveco Daily vehicles too. I would not advise anyone with a 2.2 or 3.0 Fiat engined Ducato to do this though (even if such a kit exists) because the clutch material used in the kit will very likely not be the later type that genuine Fiat kits feature. The 2.3 Ducato does not use a DMF anyway. Certainly some caution needed on this matter. ECP also sell the OE standard Valeo clutch kits for these vans and I would stick with those.
