DonB
Can anybody recommend an insurance company that covers UK and Europe and also will cover the scooter when it's on a trailer? I'm thinking of a Hydratrail Easylifter because of a weight issue.

Geoff Tuckley
Hi, DonB, Carol Nash take some beating. We take a Honda Pantheon on a trailer at home and abroad. The bike is covered for full European breakdown and is insured Fully comp even when on the trailer. Some companies only give 3rd party when in transit on a trailer. Hawcara
I looked at e-bike but decided against them as they had poor reviews, although I have no personal experience in dealings with them However if you decide to to with them, I think you can get a big discount if someone recommends them to you. The other person also gets some money off next years insurance. :-D
DonB
Thank you for your advice. The problem I am having at the moment is European cover. It seems to vary depending on what make of scooter you try to insure. I would like coverage for two periods a year of about 60-70 days each. At the moment Bennets are the only company that I can find that will give me this. Most say maximum 90 days per year. But Bennets prices and excess seem very high.
