rupert123
Anyone know a site that is good for getting into Oxford. I am already aware of the Caravan and Camping Club one. Many thanks.
jocie
There is an excellent certificated location called Strawberry Farm in the north (ie Oxford) edge of Abingdon which we use. £10 per night including electricity and a toilet block with a hot shower. You need to be a Caravan Club member,of course. The bus from Abingdon to Oxford is a short walk away, and runs about half hourly, and the site is quiet, spacious, and has a farm shop etc.

LordThornber
Henry, the CC site at Bladon Chains, whilst not super close to Oxford takes some beating as an all rounder. Bus to Oxford, from the site it's an easy walk to Churchills grave and to Blenheim Palace. A nice stroll into Woodstock too. Martyn

Their is one called Peach Farm which sounds like your description, could this be it?
flicka
We have recently used Greenhill Leisure Park @ Bletchingdon, we found it a small neat pleasant site, clean toilets & with Bar & Food on-site (weekends out of main season) Alternative bar & food approx 10minutes walk Lincoln Farm (MMM Premier Park) @ Standlake, a larger site, well kept grounds, very clean main toilet block. with a swimming pool. Pub with food about 5minutes walk (on footpath)
