harry pickin Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 Could someone please advise if the Maplin 12 volt 4 watt solar briefcase would cope with voltage drop from clock, immobiliser etc or would i need their 13 watt solar briefcase? hallii Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 4 watts is pretty low, doubtful if it would produce any worthwhile current except on the brightest days. I would go for the 13 w, it will not overcharge your battery, it is still low power but should be enough to keep the battery topped up.
