dawki
Probably going to look stupid with this one but; while away last week my wife went switch on the 12v spot light front r/h side (just behind driver seat) of my Auto trail 696, while doing it she noticed another small switch under the cupboard next to the light. we tried to find what the switch does but was unable to. anybody know what it does? LordThornber
If you haven't had the van from new it could be a retro fit for something, (no idea what). If you have bought new then it should be in your manual? just a thought or 2 8-) Martyn
Randonneur
When we bought our van secondhand there was a silver switch on the dash that we didn't know what it was for and then a few weeks later found the same sort of switch on the side of a PIR that the previous owner had installed. It appears it is a cutout switch but not tried it yet, frightened of the alarm going off and upsetting what few neighbours we have!!!!!!
HWO
Hi I have a switch there that turns on a LED strip light in the step up to the rear section of my Savannah. HWO
Big Momma
I have the Autotrail Comanche with what sound like the very same switch in the same location. As per the previous poster, to get to the rear of the van there is probably a small rise (step), underneath this step is a row of LED lights, the switch operates these lights but hard to see during daylight. We never use this light, no point, however, if you had children I suppose it could be a useful night light *-)

Mike P
On our 08 Cheyenne it switches on a row of LEDs beneath the loo door so you can see when you're "going" in the night.
