Hi We're back !

Armed with Aires,FrancePassion,ACSI,and Camping Cheques, departure was 25th may

Summary as follows.

Dover calais out, first night at St Omer Arques aire. 2Euro

 

Day 2 overnight at Armentiers sur Ourcq, France Passion Ferme du Chateau.(no direct cost)

 

Next Day at Troyes Lakes (geraudot) Aire, ..no charges.

 

next aire at Clamency ..no cost

 

Aimed then for Le Puy en Velay Aire, but heavily overloaded with "travellers and their vans", didnt like the look of it so settled instead for a commercial site a few mile further on, near Mende. 19.60 euro (OUCH)

 

Next stopat La Cavelerie , France Passion site

 

Then 3 weeks and 1 day at destination at Camping Cheque site at AGDE. 18 Camping cheques.

 

Return route. First stop at La Couvertoirade, new Aire (3 euro to exit carpark.)

 

Then on to St Eulalie de Cernon, Millau bridge exhibition and commercial site in Millau for 2 nights, (32 euro)

 

Next, on via Tarn Gorge (Pointe Sublime), Severac le Chateau,and France passion site at La Tieule.

 

Then St Flour (aire), but plan changed as official Aire was suffering road works,so temporary one was attempted. Fairground was occupying part of carpark so aire part was flooded by cars as well. Decided to move on and headed for (new) France passion site at Rezentiers. Eventually found it, up the track towards the wind generators.

 

2 Nights at le Clos Auroy at Orcet 32 euro in temperatures approaching 36 degrees.

 

Following night at St Eloy les Mines, Nice Aire adjacent to Lake and 800 yds into town for bakery. Baguette 0.80 euro.

 

Then Bruere Allichamps municipal for next night cost 6.60 euro.

 

Next intended was Bruges, but absolutely congested and not a chance so moved on to commercial site (Bois de Bardelet, near Gien.(Camping Cheque site)

 

Chartres Municipal and shopping stop was next for overnight.15 euro and is on ACSI list but too late for validity.

 

Commercial site ACSI at Neufchatel en Bray for next stop 15 euro

 

Last night at France Passion Audinghen near calais (Cap Nature in the list). No charge but option to stock up from shop or meal in Cafe. (Cafe closed,under refurbishment) but shop has a range of produce.

 

Early start aiming for 0900 ferry at Calais, (5.50 Euro to amend crossing details.)

 

All very enjoyable, Mainly dry and mixed temperatures (max 36 degrees for the 2 days at Orcet,

 

Now got to do the accounts and see how cheap it all was ( I wish !!!!!...)

 

Over 200 digital pics to plough through and sort. keeps me busy. Van to Clean up (dreaded Flies)

then get ready for a rally in 2 weeks.
