p0930 Posted July 14, 2011 Share Posted July 14, 2011 I tend to always put mine on the roof. If we go out I put it down. In reality no one seems to notice it or they think it is a fixture. I have installed an extension cable from a locker to one of the outside lockers and fitted an indoor socket. The dish then plugs into that so no trailing leads. Use good quality cable though and keep joints to a minimum. The dish needs good connection to work properly. I have just come back from Orkney and am now in Ullapool and it has worked perfectly.
