Roamer
I am considering purchasing a set of 4 Marix MPC tyres ready for my winter trips to Germany. I have already obtained a spare set of rims and therefore these tyres will only be used for a few thousand miles each year. Marix is a trademark of Marangoni Group for their ecology retread brand which have a 5 year constuction guarentee and I have been quoted £66.00 per tyre delivered for the MPC 225/75 r16 118/116 Q version which are marked M & S and are studable if neded. Has anyone purchased any version of Marix tyres and if so what is your opinion of their quality?
crinklystarfish
Sorry, can't help with a comment on the quality of that brand but I did fit some similarly specced Cooper Discoverer STs to my 4000KG coachbuilt which were also studdable etc and they were super in every respect; quality was as very good. Cooper is a well established brand and mightily popular in the USA. Price was about £5 more per tyre than your quote when I bought them.Might be worth a look if you are dithering with the less well known brand.
