JohnP
The Dutch/German border area has some major camping stores where prices are lower. If I can find out their names and locations will put them on the forum

Clive
We have found that the LaFuma range to be quality - but expensive products. Haggle at a rally. We did and bought 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a folding table. (not all together) We looked at prices in the South of France (Agatub in Agde) but these were no better than the UK. At the moment the exchange rate is dire anyway 1.38 Euro per pound! Ouch.
Mel E
Clive, you're looking at the tourist rate. The standard rate is about 1.43 or 1.44 and I normally get close to this rate on my Nationwide Credit Card, which is one of the very few that does not charge exchange commission. (I get the same using the Debit Card to draw out cash.) But I agree that, since the Euro's introduction, prices in most of Europe seem to have normalised UPWARDS. Spain is still a bit cheaper, but France isn't.
