trickydicky
hi, just like to mention our dealings with brownhills, newark. we traded in our beloved autotrail a month ago for a hymer, with a large garage to house a motorbike.within a week of purchase we were on our way to france for a much needed holiday.a bit daft really, because of course, all the little (and big) problems you get with a new m/h happened while we were there, along with lots of people commenting on how awful brownhills are, especcially when it comes to aftersales services.so it was with trepidation we diverted to newark before coming home.we spoke to andy parker within an hour of arriving and after discussing our problems and concerns we were invited to stay overnight in the free camping area which we happily agreed to,and the next day all our concerns were addressed promptly . we found the staff very helpful and professional and cannot fault the service we received from them.well done brownhills ! crinklystarfish
Glad you got sorted but what were the little (and big) problems? Readers might be about to spend a fortune on a new motorhome and as we've learned, there's no way we can hope that the motorhome press can / will offer a proper critique of 'vans. We clearly only have each other so it might be useful for people to know the problems you encountered with the Hymer.
Caddies104
Fully agree with you, soon find what is a major problem for you soon becomes a 5 minute job for their experienced Staff. Also it's useful to stop there and look around the used Motorhomes and get ideas of what other owners have modified/ changed.. It is also nice that they call you after a few days to see if everything went well with your visit,, WELL DONE Brownhills... trickydicky
ha ha, sorry, but rest assured we didn't actually buy a NEW m/h,just new to us and the problems were nothing serious, just the usual things that start to happen after a year or so.we are very pleased with the van and now know why hymer has such a good name.
