Guest pelmetman
If you go on www.motorhome365.com, there are people who regularly go to Morocco and have loads of info.My own experience of driving a camper around Morocco was in 1977 so a bit out of date:D
Andy_C
I think most people still go Algeciras -> Ceuta which is the cheapest, but there is the option of Algeciras to the new port at Tanger-Med, or Algeciras to Tangiers, or Tarifa to Tangiers. The main ticket seller is Agence de Viages Normandie, in Palmones opposite Carrefour. Many motorhomes park overnight in the car park for Lidl, nearby. We last went a couple of years ago, cost then was €230 for an open return from Algeciras to Ceuta, others will have more up to date prices I expect. One funny incident, I was stopped by a local policeman for shooting a red light, which I never saw, he accused me of being on drugs8-)......when he realized I wasn't he offered to sell me some(lol)

OurTour.co.uk
We went from Algecerias to Tanger Med in Jan of this year for €180 open return. It was €10 more than the route to Ceuta, but we found the new port really easy to get through - and no touts our the chaos we've read about at Tanger. Since we got back we've written a guide for people looking to travel independently to Morocco. It's an amazing country and we were really surprised how few British vans were there (it's mainly retired French folk!). Glad to hear of someone else taking the plunge - you don't need a tour company, just a good sense of humour!
