geraldbianchi
Has anyone been successful in obtaining a inexpensive up-dated (2010/2011) sat anv disk for a Pioneer unit, model AVIC X 1R. Any advice would be most helpful. Thanks.

Keff
Hi what year disks do you have now ICE direct can get them in Peterborough but they are not cheap I always create a back up copy so keep the originals in there box. just in case they get scratched ;) my disk are 2005 so would be interested if you get any information on any later ones
geraldbianchi
Hi Keff, My disk is also 2005. Pioneer do do a up-dated disk, 2010 I think, but it costs £250.00 (inc V A T). Hence my question re "inexpensive" optition. You may have seen the other responce to my thread which suggests B M W dealers may be able to help, but I am not hopefull that this course of action would be any cheaper than a Pioneer dealer. I will investigate and let you know. Regards G B
