If you want a safe quiet spot for the night try the approach road to Heysham Ind estate off Middleton road passed the golf club.

Wow a weekend away next to an industrial estate the grand kids will love it. ;-)

Why not just go on a site or a CL and splash out, after all the cost of your van and the fuel to get there whats another few quid eh.

Go north out of Morecambe, and just as you enter Bolton-le-sands there's an Indian restaurant on the right. Opposite is Shore road. This takes you down to the shore. Take the left along the shore. Seen lots of vans, including yank rvs overnighting here.

That road takes you to Red Bank Farm camping and caravan site, so they won't be too happy but its an ok site costs about £15 with ehu and they a pets corner for kids.

Made a mistake with the road name, it's called Pasture Lane. Follow it to the shore, turn left (rt turn would leave you in front of houses) and park up in the big parking lay by. This is 100 yds or so before the Red Bank, so should be ok.
