Mel B
Hi Christine I would think you'd either need to park with the van tilting towards the offside slightly, or alternatively fit a rain guard strip above the door: http://www.twenga.co.uk/dir-Homewares,Wine-liquor-champagne-accessories,Bottle-collar-6635

arthur49
Christine You need part no 1095074 from Swift via your dealer. Its a plastic 'gutter' which does the trick nicely. My van is a Rhythm which I assume has exactly the same. Check out the debate in the following link http://www.swift-talk.co.uk/forum/topics/panel-van-side-door-water ...........and it may be available under warranty Arthur
Mike88
This has been a long running issue on the Motorhome Technical Forum of the Swift website. As you know Swift make Autocruise. Swift have now agreed to introduce a modification by fitting an unobtrusive plastic strip along the opening of the sliding door. Mine was fitted a couple of months ago and it has improved the situation although the problem has not been completely solved. Swift have agreed to retro fit this strip on request so you need to speak to your supplying dealer. There has been a lengthy exchange with Swift on this issue on the Swift website which you may wish to join. The relevant link to the discussion is here: http://www.swift-talk.co.uk/forum/topics/panel-van-side-door-water?id=2976642%3ATopic%3A64194&page=1#comments Another additional improvement is to purchase a rubber or neoprene strip to fit between the awning and the roof (if you have an awning that is) of your van. That, together with the Swift strip, should solve the problem completely.
