Guest Tracker
Is it my imagination or is the forum getting slower and slower by the day? Did I dream it or were the Mods predicting a worthwhile improvement was due shortly - several weeks ago?

Guest peter
It's so slow now, it's pathetic. No wonder a lot of people are giving it a miss these days. The slowest of any site on the web by miles. I particularly like the bit that says "you will be redirected in one second" after you submit a post. That's a laugh. More like we'll wake you up when it's done. :D
Guest Tracker
The techy bods are on their holidays. Warners can't afford to pay for the improvements yet. It's all due to the government cutbacks. Nobody else understands it. Nobody knows what to do. Nobody cares anymore. A promise isn't a promise until it is delivered. We're getting there. We try harder. Go to work on an egg. Vorsprung durch technic. Have it your way. Where do you want to go today. Finger lickin good. Because I'm worth it. Let your fingers do the walking. Say it with flowers. BGD
This is now, by a country mile, the slowest site that I visit. Warners REALLY do need to get their web people to sort it out.......it's becoming so frustrating now that they will be losing visitors. (In edit: just as an example, it took 12 seconds after I pressed "submit", before the above message registered. That is a RUBBISH server performance, utterly lamentable)
maryowlgirl
I find several sites very slow at the moment not sure why though (!)
Usinmyknaus
Yes, or so it appears. I wonder if it is related to more, and flashier, adverts loading on every page?

Keithl
Tracker - 2011-08-17 8:03 PM Is it my imagination or is the forum getting slower and slower by the day? Did I dream it or were the Mods predicting a worthwhile improvement was due shortly - several weeks ago? And then the whole website crashed!!! :-( :-( To add to your original post, it now always takes at least 6 seconds to load any page! Never any faster, and not even to post a new comment just to view a thread. Why is this site so much slower than any other? Please Mr Mod will ask your technical gurus to take a look. Thanks in anticipation, Keith. Edit. And to post this comment took 30 seconds from pressing 'Submit' :-(

Basil
Must admit I thought it was my system so have been running various programs to see if I've been 'infected' by something, so far to no avail. The site even appeared to go down, yesterday I believe, could not get access at all at one point so perhaps they are having failure problems. Perhaps it is just this site. I will expand further upon why I agree with your opinion of yourself, and disagree with your opinion of francisgraham, tomorrow morning, when I will be nursing a hangover from this evening's curry 8-) Another spat so soon? Tony Jones
It's a good job this monitor is an LCD, not an old fashioned cathode ray tube, otherwise it'd have "Waiting for a response from outandaboutlive.co.uk" burned into the corner of the screen by now!
