Teelin
My fridge is a 3 way Dometic model RM 7505 and it 'refuses ' to stay working on mains. Sometimes it will keep working for 15 or 20 minutes or it may work for hours, then you hear the clunk of switching over to gas. If the gas supply is shut off, its green light changes to flashing red. When driving it works ok on 12 volt. Please can you help?
sshortcircuit
There are two fuses on the pcb. It may be possible that one is slack and causing an intermittent connection. A long shot but worth a try. Check other connections.
Keithl
And my guess would be that it's low mains voltage on the EHU. As you imply it's an AES fridge then I believe these switch over from 230v to gas at a voltage that causes problems as soon as the demand on the site causes a drop in voltage. I'm sure someone can quote an actual voltage or try looking in your instruction book. (possibly 210v ???). Can you measure the mains supply voltage with a DVM or similar when the fault occurs? This same question has been asked before and I'm sure this has always been the answer. Keith.
