jocie
I have pulled off my rear mudflap more than once when reversing carefully over a modest kerb. I have now removed them, and will either shorten them (but will lose the curved bottom moulding thereby, which will make them not so effective), or perhaps could fit some sort of brush skirt under the rear bumper like you sometimes see on big R.V's. My objective is to keep the tailgate and my high up mounted bikes cleaner. Anyone got experience of brush skirts???
colin
Just cut them couple of inches shorter and see how you get on, thats what we did. What have you got to lose? they certainly aint much good as they are and if you fit anything else they will end up as decoration in your shed.
