Does anyone here know where we can purchase a washing stick?  Its rather like a toilet plunger.

I saw a German lady using one in Spain and thought it was brilliant.

I might add that Dave has said we'll buy a portable washing machine but he has obviously got me trained well as it is my idea to buy the stick thingie.

Bolly1965 - 2011-08-29 11:57 AMa good old fashioned hardware shop may be able to help but i read somewhere that someone had made one by driling a couple of holes through a large sink plunger
We had thought of that but most sink plungers tend to be made from thick black rubber that might leave marks.........The one Sue saw being used was similar to a posser, but the rubber was more pliable:D
We have tried google but couldn't find one.

Now you can see what we're after if anyone knows where we can buy one in this country, or indeed anywhere cheaper, please let us know.
