thebishbus Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Help please.!! Unfortunately as I was leaving the very narrow fuel payment kiosk exit at Super U. Falaise, I had a close encounter of the wrong kind *-) . Concentrating as I was on getting close enough to the kiosk to pay , but not hitting it with my mirror, I did not see the out of vision low metal bollard on the other side of the van. As I exited, I ran the van along this, damaging two orange side marker lights on the skirt. Checking on the internet, I can find modern replacements, but would like to match the existing ones if possible. The measurememts are :- 100mm x 45mm x10mm. Fixing screw centres 90mm. Flush fitting with bulb holder going through a 28mm round hole in the skirt. I cannot see a makers name as such, but the details on the lens are :- OOSM1 E1 > PMMA < TA E1 02329 S.U.M Any help to find these, new, or good second hand, would be much appreciated. Thank you. Brian B.
Brambles Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 The marker lamp, I believe, is made by this company http://www.titgemeyer.de/home.html . and the part number is 671 915 000 . What colour is it? (edit -- it says yellow - oops! But is that a yellow cap to the bulb with a clear lense or a yellow/amber lense.) Jon
thebishbus Posted September 1, 2011 Author Posted September 1, 2011 Hi Jon. Yes that is the one, it is the lens that is yellow/amber coloured, I will contact them later. Thank you for your help. Brian B.
Brambles Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 I have had a look for a supplier and cannot find one, does not mean they are not out there though. I expect a hymer dealer can get them but probbaly very expensive and might be worth considerng changing all the markers to a different style.
lennyhb Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Try emailing some of the larger Hymer dealers in Germany all the ones we have been in have very large accessory shops compared to UK dealers. Full dealer list on Hymer site.
onecal Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Hi Brian , Titgemeyer have an online shop if you want to buy direct, You may have to buy four,as boxed, hope this helps,Regards,Brendan
thebishbus Posted September 2, 2011 Author Posted September 2, 2011 Thanks Brendan and Lenny. I see they have a UK branch not to far away from us at Tipton. I will phone them after the weekend. Brian B.

thebishbus Posted September 7, 2011 Author Posted September 7, 2011 Hi. Update. They are now on their way from Germany. I will give details when I have received them, about one / two weeks. Brian B.
Brambles Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Hi Brain. Glad you have managed to find them and get some, albeit on there way just now. Brambles.
thebishbus Posted October 1, 2011 Author Posted October 1, 2011 Ok then. New marker lights have arrived, perfik. :-D Many thanks to all those who helped, particulary Brambles for putting me on the right track. If Peter or anyone else needs any, here are the details. I phoned Titgemeyer UK branch at Tipton, the receptionist put me through to a very helpfull Andy Washington. I explained what I wanted ,and gave him the part no;- 671915. He said he would order them from Germany. I paid a very reasonable price for them by cheque on a pro-forma invoice. £3.44 ea + £3.50 pp + vat = £12.46.( For the two ) Titgemeryer (uk) Ltd, Tipton DY4 7BY Tel. 0121 557 9777. When in their Website I noticed they do a range of vehicle lights, some of which may be of interest to owners of other German made Motorhomes. I Googled, Titgemeyer vehicle side marker lights. clicked onto. Vehicle component lighting. Titgemeyer. Thanks again. Brian B.
Peter Highe Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Hi Thanks for the information. I will follow this up. We are on the way to Bad Walsee at the moment for a replacement wiper arm and a few other bits but I will see how much Hymer charge before ordering. Peter
