It is disappointing that advertising for one selected company is now being placed by the forum owners as it seems at odds with forum policy to have adverts within the text of postings?

 

Is this the start of a change of policy?

Typical spam poster who would be barred from most forums, but I notice the Warner reference, so presumably an elevated privilege?

Premier Parks is a group of camp sites approved and recommended by MMM and Warners, see Here.

Peter is only advertising a Warners 'product' and not a competitor.

Thanks for the link Keith, I understand now. It did look like a commercial plug rather than something sponsored by MMM.

These sites are not owned by Warners just endorsed by MMM writers for which no doubt the site owners pay a fee so this is absolutely a commercial plug for privately owned sites endorsed by MMM and as such does constitute advertising?

 

Sponsorship suggests that Warners are paying the site owners to join the group of approved sites - which I very much doubt?

 

I suppose for those who like sites it gives an extra dimension away from the two main clubs but quite why we have to told this in open forum escapes me?

 

Never mind I suppose as Warners own the Forum website and allow us to use it free of charge they can do as they wish without being grumbled at!

 

It would be good though if they could speed the site up a little as it is still very slow to load all the time!
