Insurance renewel.

My Insurance is just coming up for renewel, last year policy was £207, this year with no changes etc quote is £240. I purchased copy of this months Practical Motorhome and called the company with the 2 page advert giving many discounts for loads of things, I was only asked my postcode, motorhome model and my age and given a much higher quote than my existing insurer, they said their quote was a fixed quote as that is minimum amount they have to charge to apply their kind of policy! Been driving since 1967 never had conviction, speeding offence, criminal offence etc and I am told this is the general trend in the country at present! Is it just me or does anyone else just get really sick of rising cost of everything, I am considering on parting with motorhome, I have looked at statics and might go that road, as I am retired I could live in static most of summer. :'(

Just had my renewal come through same price as last year, other then a £20 service charge wshich I will argue about when i renew.

My renewal was waiting for me on my return from France from Safeguard last year was £384 this renewal £304 which includes the £20 service charge tried a quote from Caravan Club online and they were not even close by a big margin , but will have a ring around although at least Safeguard is all inclusive  without limits of use or add ons .
