alex Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Yes we are giving up motorhoming so the vehicle a big 6 berth of 2006 vintage is up for sale,probably will have to go to a dealer as there's a lack of interest in a private sale.

Ebay is very good, and with few pictures advert can be up within 5 minutes?...if priced right it will sell. If unrealistic forget it! We tried to sell ours last winter, with little or no interest. Soon as the sun came out in June loads of interest *-) Good luck, so what are youi going to do instead?
Retread24800 Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Have you set the price at the right level?, go get a quote from the local dealer, and be prepared to need a stiff drink afterwards, better to drop 10/20% than to give it to the second cousin of a horse dealer.......................:-)

Not a fantastic price obtained but probably a shade better than a commission sale by a dealer and about 15% better than a dealers by-in price. So definitely worth a go. Start with a low price but MAKE SURE you set a RESERVE at a figure below which you are not prepared to sell.
