Checklists

Hello there! I was reading the forum about 2 weeks ago and noticed that one or two people had compiled their own checklists to use before leaving home and leaving the site.

 

I know I could make my own list up but as newbies I thought I would use this as a guide.

 

However, I cant seem to find where I saw it now. Does anyone have any ideas or indeed wrote these lists. I have looked in the main motorhome matters section and this one.

 

Probably being a bit lazy but I know if I write a list it will inevitably miss out the most important things.

 

Have tried to google something as well with no success.

Any help would be appreciated.

My start of seaon / before leaving home list is two pages of 4 columns on an A4 sheet and has evolved from handwritten, via a typwriterover, to a computer and printer 40 years or so!

 

Many things don't even get physically checked because I know they are still where I left them but it does also serve as an inventory because if ever you needed to make a total or even partial loss insurance claim how else would you remember everything that was in the van - and even then it is not complete as other odds and ends creep in as we use it!

 

It gets properly updated every few years when we empty the van for changing it - at which point all the things we forgot we had also come to light again!

Thank you for directing me to the thread on checklists. Have now compiled my own based on this and have found it so useful.
