nightrider Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 The Gypsy evictions are due to start on monday the 19th september, some have already vacated the site, but the hardliners are still there, curious to see what happens?
Guest pelmetman Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 I reckon there moving their expensive 4 x 4's and caravans off, so they wont get scratched in the ensuing bun fight that will kick off on Monday;-)

nightrider Posted October 4, 2011 Author Posted October 4, 2011 I see that the cost of removing the Gypsies has escalated from 18 million to 21 million???
nightrider Posted October 14, 2011 Author Posted October 14, 2011 looks like the Dales farm travellers have lost their appeal and the evictions might start on monday, wait for the fireworks?

Not so, they are still taking the piss http://www.talktalk.co.uk/news/article/travellers-set-for-latest-court-bid/23781/
Motor-caravan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 looks like the end of the road for them this time ??? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-15342282
Guest peter Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Bloody good job an' all. I was up at Towtal in stoke today to have a towbar and a frame fitted and there were four diddy caravans parked up ilegally next to their site. They had to have added security overnight as there are a couple of million pounds worth of m/h's and caravans there. Just what you need just to stop these scum nicking catalytic converters and god knows what else. This country must be bonkers to tolerate them at all.
Dave225 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 What is the betting they move out, round the corner for a week or so, and then move back in, and it all starts all over again. If not, it will be the next bit of public land that gets commandeered
pepe63xnotuse Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 We've had a dozen plus caravans set up shop on the car/coach/lorry park in town.. Not worrying to much though as the "authorities" are on it....apparently they'll be "issuing papers" next week!? *-) Oddly enough these "travellers" are supposed to be French?...don't they have enough drives to tarmac or manhole covers to nick over on the continent? (lol)
nightrider Posted October 18, 2011 Author Posted October 18, 2011 So the evictions are planned for tomorrow, lets see what happens eh?
