Well done Malcolm,

any specific type of boxes -- e.g. owl boxes, open-fronted ones for robins, titboxes, etc.? Our Wiltshire Wildlife Trust does bat boxes and doormice nest boxes as well --so you might have a varied selection to produce!

Good luck, that 'll keep you from thinking of retirement!

cheers,

Colin.

P.S. Lincolnshire is one of the few English counties that I have nver properly visited, only passed through, I might be able to persuade my O.H. to take the'van there before the end of the year (or next spring perhaps). I have just seen an article (dare I mention that it was in the Guardian?) about the food of Lincolnshire -- just won an award as the U.K's favourite food spot -- sounds like a good reason for going there to me!

My son in law is a methodist vicar with his own church over in Royton, he is a Lincolnshire boy born and bred, he can't knock a nail in straight but by god he is a dab hand in the kitchen, some of the stuff he dishes up I have never seen or heard of, plus he likes a drink or two, many a time I have seen him sprawled behind the settee when we have had a family "do"

They sent me the fact sheet of what they want making and it covers the whole range of boxes, some of them are that big methinks they will need to hire a crane to install them.

I did retire last year and lasted all of a week (lol)

My self employed status gives me something money can't buy and that is job satisfaction plus it helps to pay the scandalous insurence premium for my work van, where the hell they get the figure of £1151 fully comp and business use I dont know (?)

My family are all practising methodists apart from me, having a big house we also put up visiting clergy when they are in town for a seminar but I dont think they like my effing and blinding when something goes wrong in my workshop.

I personally dont drink but our pantry is stacked from floor to ceiling with booze, my 93 years old mother in law swears a tipple keeps her going, I stopped going to church after listening to my wife singing, sounded like a cat being castrated (lol)

When younger used to attend a Methodist church and one visiting vicar always somehow got a song into his sermon, and before singing always used to say " God made even the crows to sing" and then proceeded to show us how.
